Ada Berry was in 1862, in Wayne County, Tennessee, the daughter of Joseph George Berry and Elmira Jane Cypert.
The 1870 Wayne County census shows 8 year old Ada living at home with her parents and siblings.
Ada married Isaac H. Old, December 6, 1879, in Wayne County. Isaac Old was born about 1850, in Tennessee.
The 1880 Wayne County census shows Isaac H. Old, 30, born in Tennessee, a grocer and his wife, Ada, 18, living in the house with her parents Joseph and Jane Berry. Joseph ran a hotel and also listed as living at that residence was a George W. Old, 25, born in Tennessee. We believe George and Isaac were possibly brothers.
Isaac died about 1885 when their children were quite small.
Ada then married Dr. Louis Henri Blakemore, in Wayne County. He was a doctor in the Confederate Army in the Civil War.
Ada died October 14, 1941, in
Liberty, Tennessee.
