Ada F. Cole was born April 28, 1864, in Wayne County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Franklin Cole and Nancy Emaline Berry.
The 1880 Wayne County census shows 16 year old Ada living with her parents and siblings.
Ada married Andrew J. Shull in 1885. Andrew Shull was born March 5, 1856.
The 1900 Wayne County, Tennessee census, 5th Civil District, shows Andy Shull, 40, born July 1859, married 15 years, a farmer who rented his farm; Ada, wife, 25, born April 1865, married 15 years, had given birth to 6 children, 6 children still living; Maggie, daughter, 12, born July 1887; Ralf, son, 11, born November 1888; Max, son, 9, born June 1890; Lucile, daughter, 7, born July 1892; Donald, son, 5, born June 1894; and Hillman, son, 3, born March 1897.
Andrew died January 3, 1926. Ada died April 19, 1956.
