America Endicott was born about 1818, in Kentucky, the daughter of Joseph Endicott and Welmet Nation.
America married James Phillips on October 11, 1834, in Harrison County, Kentucky.
Information in Mabel McCloskey's book says "the family lived in Ohio until after 1855, when they moved to Posey County, Indiana, near New Harmony."
