Andy Crow was born March 20, 1873, at Cave City, in Independence County, Arkansas, the son of Jim Crow and Elizabeth Lawrence.
Andy was a twin to Andrew Crow, who died when he was about a year old.
Andy moved to Searcy County, Arkansas, prior to 1894. He married Ardella C. West on August 19, 1894, in Searcy County. Ardella West was born April 1872, in Arkansas.
Andy and Ardella appear on the 1900 Searcy County census in Mt. Pleasant Township with their children Cora, Dora, James and Mary.
Prior to 1920, the family moved to Van Buren County, Arkansas. The 1920 Van Buren County census shows the family living in Craig Township. The census shows Andy Crow, 47, a farmer who owned his farm; Ardella, wife, 49; Cora, daughter, 22; Monroe, son, 20; Ollie, daughter, 16; and Gladys, daughter, 7 years old.
We have been told that Andy died in Texas.
