Ann Eliza L. "Annie" Bridgman was born June 3, 1845, in Campbell County, Tennessee, the daughter of Isaac Bridgman and Jane Butler.
Annie's family moved to Walker County, Georgia in 1849, when Annie was about four years old.
The 1850 Walker County census, Chickamauga Township, shows 4 year old Eliza with her parents and siblings.
Annie's father, Isaac, died August 1859. The 1860 Walker County census, Rock Spring Post Office, shows 14 year old Annie L., with her widowed mother and her siblings.
Annie married Joseph C. Carson about 1864, in Walker County. Joseph Carson was born January 18, 1845, in Tennessee, the son of Shadrack W. Carson (b. 1805; d. 1855) and Mary "Polly" Turner (b. 1808; d. 1870).
The 1880 Walker County, Georgia census, Pond Spring Township, shows Joseph C. Carson, head, 34, born in Tennessee; Eliza, wife, 33, born in Tennessee; Mary J., daughter, 15, born in Georgia; James, son, 12, born in Georgia; Hannah, daughter, 9, born in Georgia; Horace, son, 5, born in Georgia; and Georgia, daughter, 8 months, born in Georgia.
Annie died June 17, 1903, in Stillwell, Adair County, Oklahoma. Joseph died there on November 6, 1907.
