Ann Butler was born about 1786, in Culpeper County, Virginia, the daughter of Spencer Butler and Elizabeth (last name unknown).
Ann married James Willey about 1804, in Culpeper Co. We have been told by other researchers that James Willey was born about 1784, in England.
Ann Willey was named in her father's will, dated July 20, 1818, to receive five dollars.
The family moved to Ohio after about 1818.
We have been told that James died January 1, 1857, in Licking County, Ohio and that Ann died there about 1875.
