Arthur Samuel Harmon was born January 30, 1888, in Harmony Township of Posey County, Indiana, the son of Joseph Harmon and Nevada Ann Hughes.
Arthur's family moved to Indian Territory of present day Oklahoma about 1893. They settled at Shady Point, Oklahoma.
Arthur married Mary Cenotto on September 6, 1913, at Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Mary Cenotto was born June 19, 1892, in Lehigh, Indian Territory, the daughter of Lorenzo "Lawrence" Cenotto (Cinotto) and Dominica Vermetti. Lorenzo Cenotto was born July 17, 1857, in Torino, Italy and died October 17, 1939, at Poteau, Oklahoma. Dominica Vermetti was born May 25, 1864, in Genoa, Italy and died February 1, 1949, at Vinita, Oklahoma.
Arthur died September 6, 1966, at Wetumka, Oklahoma. Mary died March 26, 1986, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and is buried beside her husband at Wetumka.
