Angie Azalee Harmon was born in Pope County, Arkansas, the daughter of Oliver Schuyler Harmon and Sarah Ann Bruce.
Azalee married Herbert D. "Doc" Owens, who was born January 1, 1919, died September 14, 1963, and is buried in Friendship Cemetery, near Solgohachia, in Conway County, Arkansas. Azalee later married Eugene "Bud" Shumate.
Azalee died June 24, 2006 and is buried in Friendship Cemetery.
