Cora A. Horton was born July 26, 1875, in Wayne County, Tennessee, the daughter of Peter Gales Horton and Sarah Margaret Ayers.
Cora married James Matthew Reatherford on June 9, 1889, in Wayne County, Tennessee. James Reatherford was born January 2, 1855, in North Carolina, and died August 11, 1923, at Cromwell Crossroads, in Wayne County. Cora died March 20, 1914, in Wayne County.
