D J McClure was born April 26, 1946, at Formosa, in Van Buren County, Arkansas, the son of Charles William McClure and Velma Mae Branham.
D J married Shirley Lackey at Atkins, in Pope County, Arkansas. The marriage ended in divorce.
D J spent three years in the U.S. Army. He served in Vietnam during the conflict. He later moved to Wichita, Kansas, where he met and married Nelda Henderson, a sister to his brother Virgil's wife, Connie.
D J and Nelda lived at Latham, Kansas for several years. D J owned and operated an auto body shop at El Dorado, Kansas for several years. Nelda was Postmistress at Latham for a time. The marriage ended in divorce in 2002.
D J moved to El Dorado where he continued to operate his auto body shop. He married Agnes "Samm" ____.
D J died August 13, 2010 at El Dorado, Kansas.
