Patrick Franklin "Dock" Abel was born March 14, 1859, in Roane County, Tennessee, the son of James Christopher Abel and Sarah Elmyra Stacey.
Dock married Mary Louise "Mollie" Blisplingloff on January 22, 1883. Mollie Blisplingloff was born August 1, 1863, at Point Rock, in Roane County.
Dock died May 6, 1926, at Knoxville, Tennessee. Mollie died November 12, 1933, at Concord, Tennessee.
