Dorothy Lea McClure

Dorothy Lea McClure was born at Formosa, in Van Buren County, Arkansas, the daughter of Charles William McClure and Velma Mae Branham.

Dorothy married William Kermot Moore on October 1, 1951, at Formosa.

Kermot farmed at Morrilton, in Conway County, Arkansas, for a time after they married. They later moved to Perry County and Kermot worked for a time as a logger. He then worked at Crompton Mills at Morrilton for many years until the plant closed operations.

Kermot died August 25, 2008, at Morrilton, Conway County, Arkansas. He is buried in McGhee Cemetery near Adona, in Perry County, Arkansas.

Dorothy is a beautician and owns and operates her own shop beside her home in Adona. She has also been the hairdresser for the Perry County Nursing Home for many years.
