Elbert T. Wren was born February 23, 1903, at Evansville, Indiana, the son of William Thomas Wren, Jr. and Eliza L. Householder.
Elbert appears with his parents on the 1920 New Madrid County, Missouri census. He is shown to be 18 years old. The family is living in Lewis Township.
Elbert married Mable Roberts who was born January 15, 1905, at Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, the daughter of Newton Roberts and Minnie (last name unknown).
Mable died at Malden, Missouri on July 7, 1992. Elbert died there on August 17, 1992. They are buried in Mounds Cemetery near New Madrid, Missouri.
