Donna Ellen Baugus was born November 20, 1887, in Wayne County, Tennessee, the daughter of Robert Wesley "Bob" Baugus and Margaret Martha Malinda "Lindy" Horton.
The Baugus family moved to Searcy County, Arkansas about 1896 to 1899. Lindy and the children moved to Conway County, Arkansas, after 1906.
Ellen married G. Orville Johnson. Orville Johnson was born February 1, 1886. He was a brother to Oscar Johnson who married Ellen's sister, Clara Baugus. Orville and Ellen eventually moved to California, where they both died and are buried.
