Eugene Cypert

Eugene Cypert was born September 28, 1857, at Searcy, in White County, Arkansas, the son of Jesse Newton Cypert, Jr. and Sarah Crow.

Eugene studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1884. He entered into partnership with his father and practiced law at Searcy. He served three terms as White County Court Judge and also was a member of the Arkansas State Convention in 1917. Eugene was also a farmer.

Eugene married Louise Iredell Seat on May 13, 1897, at Webster Grove, Missouri. Louise Seat was born May 13, 1877, in Belton, Texas, the daughter of Benton Bell Seat, an attorney, and Harriet Louise Haymond.

Eugene died December 3, 1955, at Searcy. Louise died there December 14, 1959. They are buried in Oak Grove Cemetery at Searcy.
