Isaac Stooksberry was born February 4, 1856, in Tennessee, the son of Robert Stooksberry, Jr. and Jennie Sharp.
Isaac married Sarah M. Woody on July 8, 1879, in Wayne County, Tennessee.
The 1880 Wayne County census, District 8, shows Isaac, 24, a farmer and Sarah, 18, living with his widowed mother and siblings.
Isaac died in Wayne County in September 1883.
Sarah then married James D. Curtis on April 1, 1886.
