Admason, head, 30, born May 1870, in Iowa, married 5 years, father and mother born in Ohio, farmer; Rosa, wife, 26, born 1874, married 5 years, given birth to 3 children, 3 children still living, father and mother born in Germany; Edith, daughter, 3, born July 1896, in Iowa; Vern, son, 2, born October 1897, in Iowa; and Walter, son, 1, born December 1898, in Iowa. John's parents were living next door.
John purchased 138 acres of land in Columbus City Township of Louisa County in 1902.
