John Hardin Horton was born May 28, 1873, at Canaan, in Searcy County, Arkansas. He was the son of William Winthrop Thomas Horton and Tennessee A. Parks.
John married Fronie Dell "Della" Bryan on March 18, 1903, in Searcy County. Della Bryan was born October 20, 1880. She died September 23, 1964, in Searcy County. John died in Searcy County on May 13, 1945.
