John H. Endicott was born about 1816, in Kentucky, the son of Joseph Nation Endicott and Elizabeth Varner.
John married Malinda Eaton about 1839. They appear to have settled in Illinois.
John and Malinda had at least two children. The 1860 Posey County, Indiana, Harmony Township census shows their children living with John's parents. The census shows Joseph Endicott, 65, a farmer and miller, with real estate valued at $9000 and personal property valued at $2500; Elizabeth, 64; and grandchildren Marshall, age 14, and Raymond age 10 years.
We assume John and Malinda both died between 1850 and 1860.
