John Alexander Weatherford was born in September 27, 1869, in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of Joel Wilson Weatherford, Jr. and Sarah Elizabeth Franks.
John married Flora Emaline McGee on December 7, 1893, in Tennessee. Flora McGee was born in September 15, 1879, in Wayne County, Tennessee, the daughter of Wiley Daniel McGee and Hettie Louise Copeland.
John died March 20, 1938, in Hardin County and is buried in Pinhook Cemetery at Lutts, in Wayne County, Tennessee. Flora died December 13, 1967 and is buried in Pinhook Cemetery.
