Josiah R. Sypert was born about 1835, in Wilson County, Tennessee, the son of Robert Bell Sypert and Juliet Hunt Jackson.
Josiah married Artimisa Jackson on May 2, 1865, in Harrison County, Texas. Artimisa Jackson was born about 1835.
Josiah died May 7, 1874.
