(Information contributed by Patsy Fouts.) John T. Stanfield was born 1837 in Georgia, the son of Robert J. Stanfield and Bethena Meyers Waggoner.
John married Cynthia Elizabeth (last name unknown) on January 22, 1855. Cynthia was born in 1827 and died in 1911. John died August 15, 1895. He is buried in Dorsett-Norrell Cemetery, Gordon County, Georgia.
