Letha Holden

Letha Holden was born July 7, 1898, in Stone County, Arkansas, the daughter of Jim Holden and Sarah Pierce.

Letha married Henry Clay Diffey about 1918. Clay Diffey was born February 25, 1895, the son of William Wesley Diffey, born 1844, in Alabama, and his third wife, Mary Elizabeth Lawrence, born 1860, in Searcy County, Arkansas; died 1942, at Timbo, in Stone County, buried in the Timbo Cemetery.

Clay served in the Army in World War I. After the war he was a farmer, a blacksmith and a Justice of the Peace in Stone County.

Letha died December 20, 1973, at Timbo, in Stone County. She is buried in the Timbo Cemetery. Clay died September 3, 1987, at Anderson, Indiana. He is buried beside Letha in the Timbo Cemetery.
