Sarah Elizabeth "Linie" Greeson was born April 16, 1863, in Hardin County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of David C. Greeson and Sarah Ann Elizabeth Berry.
Linie married John Anderson Johnson. John Johnson was born January 18, 1837, in Tennessee. He was the son of John Coss Johnson and Armintha Gillis. John Coss Johnson was born in 1808 and died in 1889. Armintha Gillis was born in 1809. John Coss and Armintha are buried in the Moore Cemetery. John Coss Johnson, a Methodist Minister, owned over 800 acres of land along Weatherford Creek. He built the Johnson Chapel Methodist Church from logs off his land. The building was also used as a school. John Coss was the son of C. H. Johnson, born 1780, and Selina Johnson, born 1782.
John Anderson Johnson was a Bible salesman. He was a member of the Cypress Creek Masonic Lodge. Linie was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. John and Linie were members of the Johnson Chapel Methodist Church. John and Linie's farm became the location of the Weatherford, TN, post office. Linie served as Postmaster for a number of years.
