Mary Jane Avey was born May 7, 1873, in Arkansas, the daughter of James Epson Avey and Rebecca Parlee Anderson.
Mary Jane married James B. Anderson on August 8, 1889, in Stone County, Arkansas. James B. Anderson was born October 31, 1864.
James died April 16, 1934, and is buried in Big Spring Cemetery, near Timbo, in Stone County. Mary died July 26, 1949, and is buried beside her husband.
We do not know how many children the couple had, but we found the graves of two of their children that died as infants.
