Maude Magalene McClure was born November 8, 1886, in either White or Cleburne County, Arkansas, the daughter of James Orsen McClure and Alzira Scarlett.
Maude married Arthur Riley Harris about 1908. Arthur Riley Harris was born February 23, 1880. He was first married to Maude's sister Commie A. McClure, who died between 1903 and about 1908.
Arthur died October 8, 1922, and is buried in Maple Springs Cemetery near Oil Trough, in Independence County, Arkansas. Maude died May 4, 1924, and is buried beside her husband. On the other side of Arthur's grave is an unmarked grave where we believe Maude's sister Commie A. McClure Harris is buried.
