The Weatherford family moved to Wayne County, Tennessee prior to about 1815.
The 1820 Wayne County census shows Margaret as a female 10-16 years old. The 1830 Wayne County census shows her as a female 20-30 years old.
Margaret married _____ Davis about 1830. Mr. Davis either died or they separated about 1848-1849.
The 1850 Wayne County, Tennessee census, 7th Civil District, shows Margaret Davis, 48; George, 21, a farmer; Jane, 18; Rebeca, 14; Adaline, 13; James, 11; Martha, 9; John, 6; and Susanna, 2.
