The Jones family moved to White County, Arkansas, prior to 1889. Prior to 1900 the family moved to Culpepper Township in Van Buren County, Arkansas.

The marriage record shows Henry Teague, 38, a resident of Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas, married Mattie Harden, 40, a resident of Clinton, Van Buren County, Arkansas. (Note: We have no idea how or where the couple met.)
We know nothing about Henry Teague. The information we obtained from various records is conflicting. According to Henry's age on the marriage record, he was born about 1884. According to the age listed on the 1930 census, he was born about 1874. (Note: We located a Henry Teague, age 2 (born about 1878, in Arkansas) on the 1880 Crawford County, Arkansas census. He was listed with Jasper N. Teague and wife Adaline. We are unsure if that is our Henry Teague.)
