I, James M. Scarlett, a duly ordained minister of the gospel of the Methodist Protestant Church, do hereby certify that on the 14th day of January 1855, in the County of Conway and State of Arkansas, did duly join in marriage William H. McClure aged twenty three years and Nancy E. Cargile aged ninteen years, boath of the above County and then and there declared them husband and wife.
My clerical credentials are recorded in the office of the Clerk of the County Court of White County, Arkansas, in Marriage Record Book B, page 70.
Given this 14th day of Jan. 1855.
