Mary Victoria "Mollie" Stanfield was born January 6, 1873, in Wayne County, Tennessee, the daughter of John A. Stanfield and Elizabeth Jane Copeland.
Mary married George K. Polk on October 16, 1890, in Hardin County, Tennessee. George Polk was born March 30, 1871.
George died March 12, 1941. Mary died August 15, 1941, and is buried in Mt. Zion Cemetery, at Steele, Pemiscot County, Missouri.
