Nancy E. Cypert was born March 6, 1841, in Wayne County, Tennessee, the daughter of John Lafayette Cypert and Elizabeth Neal.
Nancy married Samuel Martin about 1860, probably in Wayne County.
Samuel Martin was fought in the Civil War. He died August 10, 1864, at Clifton, in Wayne County, from injuries he suffered in the war.
Nancy then married Henry Daniel Puryear. Nancy was Henry's second wife. He had children by his first marriage.
Nancy died April 18, 1924.
