Charles Cornelius P. "Neal" Woody was born March 14, 1873, in Wayne County, Tennessee, the son of John J. Woody and Sarah Jane Stanfield.
Neal married Bru Nettie Phillips on December 22, 1894, in Searcy County, Arkansas. Bru Nettie Phillips was born February 21, 1877.
The 1910 Searcy County, Arkansas, census shows Neal farming near Leslie. Nettie Woody died February 14, 1929, in Searcy County. She is buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Conway County, Arkansas.
Neal and his children moved to Oklahoma after the death of his wife. Neal died March 20, 1948, at Foyel, Oklahoma.
