Nancy L. Stanfield was born March 27, 1870, in Wayne County, Tennessee, the daughter of John A. Stanfield and Elizabeth Jane Copeland.
Nancy married U. C. Wells on March 6, 1890, in Hardin County, Tennessee.
Nancy died October 12, 1901, and is buried in New Harmony Cemetery, in Hardin County.
