Nancy Paralee Crow was born September 7, 1872, in Independence County, Arkansas, the daughter of John Henry Crow and Sarah Jane Rollins.
Paralee married Robert Bunyan King on January 3, 1899. Robert King was born November 14, 1866, in Independence County. Census records indicate Robert's father was born in Ireland and his mother was born in Alabama.
The family appears on the 1900 Independence County census, living in Barren Township. Robert is listed as Albert King on the census. We assume Albert was part of his name. Listed with them on the census is Shelby King, age 6. We assume this is some of Robert's family, possibly a child from a previous marriage. Shelby does not appear with them on the 1910 census.
The 1910 Independence County census lists Robert, Nancy, Ida May, age 9, and Edna Matilda, age 7.
Paralee died April 12, 1936, at Cave City, in Independence County. Robert died September 20, 1954, at Cave City.
