Oliver Lamen Crow was born May 22, 1853, in Guilford County, North Carolina, the son of John Henry Crow and Sarah Jane Rollins.
Oliver was less than a year old when his family moved to Independence County, Arkansas. Oliver is listed as eight years old on the 1860 Independence County census.
Oliver married Eliza Wilson about 1887. Eliza Wilson was born May 1856.
Oliver died March 12, 1906, at Cave City, in Independence County. He is buried in the Cave City Cemetery.
