Ora Janet Baugus was born June 4, 1884, in Wayne County, Tennessee, the daughter of Robert Wesley "Bob" Baugus and Margaret Martha Malinda "Lindy" Horton.
The Baugus family moved to Searcy County, Arkansas, between 1896 and 1899. Lindy and the children moved to Conway County, Arkansas, after 1906.
Ora married George W. Joslin about 1905. George Joslin was born February 17, 1881.
George and Ora raised their family in Conway County. The 1930 Conway County census, Welborn Township, shows George W. Joslin, rented his farm, 49, married at 21; Ora, 46, married at 18; Alvin, 22, widowed, married at 20, a farm worker; Arlen, 16, a farm worker; Fabell, 14; and Mildred D., almost 4 years old.
Ora died in Conway County on September 5, 1964. George died there July 15, 1965. They are buried in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, near Plumerville, in Conway County.
