Mary "Polly" Ann J. Woody was born February 18, 1859, in Wayne County, Tennessee, the daughter of John J. Woody and Nancy Jane Stanfield.
The 1860 Wayne County census lists Polly Ann as one year old. She is listed as 11 years of age on the 1870 Wayne County census.
Polly married Andrew Nelson Johnson on October 1, 1878, in Wayne County. Andrew Nelson Johnson was born July 7, 1862, in Tennessee.
Polly died July 31, 1894. Andrew died in Caruthersville, Missouri on August 24, 1946.
