Prior to 1860, the family moved from Anderson County to Union County, Tennessee. The 1860 Union County census shows Samuel Robins, 30, a farmer with $100 personal property; Jane, 22; Robert, 8; and Rufus, 6 years old. Living next door was Jane's brother Samuel Stooksberry and his family.
The 1870 census shows the family back in Anderson County, Tennessee, in the 2nd District, Wallace Cross Roads Post Office. They were living next to Jane's sister and brother-in-law, Hannah and John Gilbert and family and near several other of Jane's siblings and relations. The 1870 Anderson County census shows Samuel Robbins, 40, a farmer with $250 real property and $205 personal property; Jane, 40; Robert, 17, a farm laborer; Rufus, 14, a farm laborer; Hannah, 9; John, 6; and Nancy A., 2 years old.
Rebecca died in 1890 and is buried in New Loyston Cemetery in Union County, Tennessee.
