Robert Olin Nisler was born April 22, 1905, at Plumerville, in Conway County, Arkansas, the son of Andrew Sherman Nisler and Nancy E. "Nannie" Cargile. Robert had a twin brother, Roger.
Robert married Martha Ruth Hamm on September 9, 1925. Martha Ruth Hamm was born September 3, 1908, at Hattieville, in Conway County, the daughter of John Hamm and Ellen Carter.
Robert died March 13, 1965, at Morrilton, in Conway County. Ruth died there October 6, 1970. They are buried in Elmwood Cemetery at Morrilton.
