Stephen Scott "S K" McClure was born August 30, 1919, in Clinton, Van Buren County, Arkansas, the son of Dode McClure and Meg Brewer.
S K married Mary H. Doubleday. They later divorced. There were no children born to this union.
S K was a World War II veteran. He was a school teacher for many years. He was killed in a car accident near the Faulkner County, Arkansas, line on September 23, 1970. He is buried in Kilgore Cemetery near Birdtown in Conway County, Arkansas.
