Virgil Floyd Gloden was born August 2, 1901, at Decatur, in Macon County, Illinois, the son of John Michael Gloden and Lillie Coulter.
Virgil married Allegra Muriel Borden on January 1, 1923, at Guymon, in Texas County, Oklahoma. Allegra Borden was born September 10, 1904, at Elkhart, Indiana, the daughter of William O. Borden and Benza Blanchard.
Virgil was a farmer. In 1938, the family moved to Texas. Virgil died February 12, 1955, at San Antonio, Texas. Allegra died August 1966, at San Antonio, Texas. They are both buried at San Antonio, Texas.
