Vicey Weatherford was born about 1797, in North Carolina, the daughter of William Weatherford and Margaret Ann Polk.
Vicey's family moved to Wayne County, Tennessee prior to about 1815. Vicey appears with her family on the 1820 Wayne County census. She is shown to be a female age 16-26.
Vicey married Stephen Daniel about 1820. Stephen Daniel was born about 1780-1790.
The 1830 Wayne County census shows Stephen Daniel's family living between the families of William Weatherford and Joel Weatherford. The census shows one male 40-50; 2 males 5-10; 2 males under 5; one female 30-40; and one female 10-15 years old.
