Walsie Della Horton was born October 15, 1903, in Pope County, Arkansas, the daughter of Ed Horton and Victoria Brewer.
Walsie's family moved to Missouri about 1911. Walsie married Dan Owens on October 6, 1922, at Mountain Grove, Missouri. Dan Owens was born October 22, 1896.
Dan and Walsie moved their family to California, about 1926. They settled at Escondido.
Dan died June 18, 1958, at Escondido. He is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery. Walsie died there October 17, 1999.
