Will of William Calvin Bridgeman

Wayne County, Kentucky

In the name of God, Amen. I, W.C. Bridgeman, of the County of Wayne and State of Kentucky, realizing the shortness of life and the certainty of death, and being of sound and disposing mind, but somewhat physically afflicted, do make, declare and publish this to be my last Will and Testament in the presence of my subscribing witnesses.

My desire is that my beloved wife Matilda shall enjoy the use of all my property during her natural life except what it takes to pay my debts and funeral expenses. At her death my desire is that her two oldest daughters Thirsey J. Morgan and Anna L. Carter, and my five sons James Bridgeman, D. O. Bridgeman, J. M. Bridgeman, Sampson D. Bridgeman and Marion M. Bridgeman shall have ($1.00) one dollar each, and that the home place on farm be divided equally between my two youngest daughters Lucinda C. Huffaker and Mary Bridgeman and all lands not heretofore deeded away. I hereby nominate and appoint John Huffaker my executor to carry this will into effect.

In testimony whereof I have hereunto affixed my signature this 5th day of August A.D. 1896.

W. C. (his mark) Bridgeman

In the presence of James J. Harmon and James E. Carter
