William Harrison Endicott was born October 24, 1792, in North Carolina, the eldest child of Joseph Endicott and Welmet Nation.
Records show that William served in the War of 1812. He served from April 1812 to February 1813 and from February 1814 to March 1814, and was in the Battle of Tippecanoe, according to Mabel McCloskey's book, Some Descendants of John Endecott Governor of Massachusetts Bay Colony.
William married Mary Ann Ross on May 12, 1818, at Cynthiana, in Harrison County, Kentucky. Mary Ann Ross was born in 1794, in Kentucky, the daughter of Alex Ross and Margaret (last name unknown).
William moved his family to Montgomery County, Indiana about 1829. William was a farmer.
William died December 27, 1859, in Montgomery County.
