William Clinton Sypert was born August 25, 1827, at Lebanon, in Wilson County, Tennessee, the son of Robert Bell Sypert and Priscilla Davis.
William married Elizabeth Whitmore, who was born about 1837, in Wilson County, Tennessee.
William married (second) Lydia R. Campbell, who was born February 5, 1839, in Alabama. She died September 6, 1875, at Nashville, Howard County, Arkansas.
Some researchers show that William married Catherine K. Snodgrass in 1879. Catherine died in 1889. William died at Nashville, Arkansas, in 1891.
