William Wesley "Wes" Branom was born February 22, 1896, in Colbert County, Alabama, the son of William Branham and Theodoshia "Doshie" Davis.
Wes was two years old when his father died. His mother struggled to keep the children fed and clothed. Wes' mother died when he was about 18 years old.
Wes married America Isabel Garrett, daughter of Joseph Garrett and Lucindy Pruett. Joseph Garrett was born before 1870, and died before 1892. Lucindy Pruett was born in 1870, the daughter of Charles Rossen Green Pruett. Isabel had a brother Will Garrett, born in 1894, in Hancock County, Mississippi, a brother Colbert Garrett, and three sisters: Elizabeth Garrett, Ella Garrett, and Mary Catherine Garrett.
Wes and Isabel lived in Alabama and Georgia. They later moved to Florida. Wes died November 28, 1969, at Winter Garden, in Orange County, Florida.
