Darrell Benjamin Franklin McClure

Darrell Benjamin Franklin McClure was born at Formosa, in Van Buren County, Arkansas, the son of Charles William McClure and Velma Mae Branham.

Darrell married Peggy Janell Brown June 28, 1963, at Ada Valley, in Conway County, Arkansas. Janell Brown was born June 15, 1941, at Ada Valley, the daughter of Jack Patton Brown and Geneva Lacook.  (Note: Geneva Lacook is a descendant of Sarah Ann Priscilla McClure. Darrell and Janell were distant cousins.)

Darrell worked for a time for the City of Morrilton. He was also employed by Winrock Farms on Petit Jean Mountain, in Conway County, for some time. Later Darrell worked for a heavy construction company.

Janell worked for the local school system for a time, then worked at Levi Strauss Company, at Morrilton, in Conway County, until the plant closed operation in 1999.

In 2001, Darrell and Janell moved to Springdale, Arkansas where their son Benny owns a farm. Their daughter Nellia also moved to Springdale, then later to Gentry, Arkansas.

Janell died January 29, 2002, at Springdale. She is buried in the Ada Valley Cemetery in Conway County.
