Ettie Jane Bridgman was born July 1, 1886, in Stone County, Arkansas, the eldest child of James Isaac Bridgman and Nancy Teague.
Ettie married William Stanfield Ticer on September 28, 1907, at Fox, in Stone County, Arkansas. Stanfield Ticer was born March 31, 1888, in Stone County, the son of William Andrew Jackson Ticer and Letha Alice Pierce. Letha Pierce was the daughter of Nancy Lucinda Pierce and the granddaughter of Lewis B. Pierce and Elizabeth "Betsy" Ann Stanfield.
The family appears on the 1920 Stone County census in Union Township. Seven children are listed with them on the census. The family moved to Oklahoma about 1920. They moved to Texas in later years.
Stanfield died August 26, 1975, in Cameron County, Texas. Ettie died August 25, 1976, at Harlingen, in Cameron County. They are buried in the Rio Hondo Cemetery, in Cameron County, Texas.
