Lydia Hannah Jane Youngblood was born January 12, 1844, in Wayne County, Tennessee, the daughter of Josiah Youngblood and Mary "Polly" Horton.
Lydia married Matthew Joseph Sims, Jr. on March 18, 1861, in Wayne County. Matthew Sims was born in 1840, in Wayne County, the son of Matthew Joseph Sims and Dorothy Greeson.
Lydia married James K. P. Gravett on October 20, 1872, in Wayne County, Tennessee.
The 1880 Wayne County census, 8th Civil District, shows Lydia's sons, William C. Sims, 17, and Mathew J. Sims, 10, living with their grandfather, Josiah Youngblood.
Lydia died before 1889, as her heirs are mentioned in her father's will which was signed June 3, 1889.
